Jessica Gibba

Jessica Gibba discovered the practice of yoga at the age of 29 in 2012 on the magical island of Formentera, Balearic Islands, together with teachers Yiannis Andritsos from the Dharma yoga lineage, Eva Oller from Ashtanga yoga and Olga Pakriti. With them she learned discipline in practice and to delve into issues beyond the physical body.

Something that started in a basic way was transforming into something transcendental for his physical and emotional well-being.

It was totally revealing in every way, and years later what she describes as her “Spiritual Awakening” blossomed in her, which manifested itself in a true connection towards respect and love towards all aspects of her person.

She decided to travel to India to discover more about yoga philosophy. In the city of Rishikesh she did a Hatha Vinyasa teacher training with Dr Sushil and Naveen Mingwal. She followed her journey to the south of India to the city of Mysore to deepen the Ashtanga Yoga method under the guidance of teachers Ajay Kumar and Khusal Nagar. She even had the great opportunity to attend the classes of BNS Iyengar, a living legend of yoga and a direct disciple of Sri Tirumalai Krishnamacharya.

She has complemented her learning with other types of therapies such as Ayurveda massage, in order to be able to connect more with the physical and energetic body.

Passionate about the energy of the moon, she makes use of it in her classes, guided by the lunar phases, thus respecting the cycles of our body.

She currently resides in Barcelona, where she continues to receive and update her training at YogaOne as a teacher and studying 500 hours with the support of Jordi Canela Om Ram.

Jessica shares with us her personal mantra “With love everything and forever”.
